Introducing the New Generation of P50 Fire Extinguishers
Want to make significant savings on fire equipment without compromising safety? The new and improved generation of P50 fire extinguishers come with massive cost savings, enhanced performance and lower environmental impact.
P50s are created with the same composite materials pioneered by the aerospace and motor racing industries. The best part is, this new technology will SAVE you money rather than leave a big dent in your budget.
Key Benefits of P50 Fire Extinguishers
✔️ Light and Easy to Deploy
The new generation P50 is lighter than ever. The main construction of the P50 is a High-Density Polyethylene Aramid fibre (Kevlar®) type material woven onto the body. It is strong and incredibly light making it easy to handle, transport and use in an emergency.
✔️ No Need for Annual Engineer Service
P50s are designed to be inspected in house, so there’s no need for your annual engineer service. Carrying out your own maintenance with a simple annual visual inspection gives substantial savings year after year.
✔️ 10 Year Operational Corrosion Guarantee
P50s come with an industry leading 10-year quality assurance on material defects and workmanship.
✔️ Free Site Survey
All P50s are supplied with a FREE site survey and are installed by our fire extinguisher technicians, ensuring correct installation and coverage. Most sites see a reduction in the number of extinguishers required.
✔️ Free Replacement Guarantee
Free replacements are provided for any extinguishers discharged fighting a fire. Simply contact us with a valid fire incident number and details of the incident.
✔️ 10 Year Overhaul
P50 fire extinguishers need to be factory refurbished after 10 years which extends their lifespan by a further 10 years.
✔️ Environmentally Sound
P50s often reduce the number of fire extinguishers needed and last longer than many conventional extinguishers. They can also be recycled at the end of their operational life, making them a sound choice environmentally.

Four Options for New Generation P50s
The new generation of P50 extinguishers come in four types: Foam, Powder, F Class (Wet Chemical) and Monnex. Choosing the right fire extinguishers for your site depends on the risks present.
P50 BSX ASX Foam
This Fluro Factant Free Foam fire extinguisher has excellent fire-fighting capabilities making it effective on Class A materials, wood, paper and textiles and Class B fires fuelled by paints, solvents, oils and petrochemical products. The unit has also passed the EN3 test for use on live electrical equipment up to 1000V at a distance of 1m. Operational temperature range from +5°C to +60°C. Frost protection to -5°C is available.
P50 ABC40 Powder
The ABC40 Powder fire extinguisher is designed to be installed in areas where there are a variety of fire hazards and where fast extinguishing is required. ABC40 Powder fire extinguishers can tackle fires on Class A materials, wood, paper and textiles, Class B fires, those fuelled by oils, paints, solvents and petrochemical products as well as on Class C flammable gas fires. It is safe to use on live electrical equipment up to 1000 volts at a distance of 1m. Operational temperature range from -20°C to +60°C.
P50 F Class
The formulation of the chemical in this F Class extinguisher is based on nitrogenated derivatives and ammonium salts of phosphoric acid and hydrocarbon and fluorinated surfactants in aqueous solution. The extinguisher medium forms a seal on the surface preventing re-ignition.
Monnex is based on a Potassium bicarbonate - urea complex. The extinguishing powder interferes with the chemical reactions and the fire is extinguished. In the combustion zone Monnex powder explodes breaking into smaller particles which dramatically increases the surface area of the powder. Monnex Powder is safe to use on live electrical equipment up to 1000 volts at a distance of 1m and will extinguish Class B flammable liquids fire and Class C flammable gas fires. Operational temperature range from -20°C to +60°C.
