Key Health and Safety Registers and Records for Construction Sites

 

Why Keep Health and Safety Records?

Keeping up-to-date with health and safety records is vital because:

  • It ensures key information is at hand and easily retrievable – allowing those in monitoring and managerial positions to access information quickly.
  • Registers and records inform those responsible for health and safety tasks of exactly what needs to be done and when – improving workflow, safety and efficiency.
  • They demonstrate your compliance with legal duties under health and safety law.
  • Records are often a legal requirement and must be available for inspection by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) or other regulatory bodies.
