Safely recycle branded workwear without compromising your brand

Enfield Safety is proud to partner with Avena Group to offer clients a secure and truly sustainable solution for the disposal of uniforms, branded workwear, PPE, work boots, and hard hats of all kinds. Through Avena’s SecureBrand® system, our clients benefit from an end-to-end service designed for brand protection, confidentiality, and environmental stewardship.

Why Choose This Service?

Total Brand Protection

From the moment branded garments are placed into lockable, secure consoles on your premises, every step is managed with security in mind. Only vetted staff, screened via CRB/DBS, handle collections. Unbranded, GPS-tracked vehicles with CCTV monitor transit to Avena’s secure facility, ensuring your uniforms and workwear remain confidential until final destruction.

Zero to Landfill & Circular Economy Impact

Enfield Safety and Avena share one firm commitment that no reusable textile material goes to landfill. Instead, once shredded, materials are sorted and recycled according to our waste hierarchy. Recycled materials are either used for the manufacturing of new garments, clothes, or textiles, or become useful products such as insulation, geotextiles or partition walls. Additionally, they may be made into chips and melted or used to generate energy (RDF). This reutilisation supports circular economy goals and significantly reduces waste.

Full Traceability & Certification

Every collection and destruction process is fully auditable. Clients receive a certificate confirming their items were shredded beyond recognition and recycled responsibly, essential for compliance and internal reporting.

How It Works for Enfield Safety Clients

1. Secure Collection Units Deployed
We provide lockable recycling bins for storing old, branded textiles on your site.

2. Scheduled Pick Ups by Trusted Operatives
Collections are carried out by trained and DBS-screened personnel, transported discreetly in unbranded, GPS-tracked vehicles.

3. Secure Processing & Shredding
At Avena’s secure facility, textiles and uniforms are sorted and shredded completely to eliminate any risk of misuse.

4. Repurposing & Recycling
Shredded fibres are processed on-site into reusable materials. Anything unusable is responsibly recycled or repurposed, a process that avoids landfill entirely.

5. Certification & Impact Reporting
You receive a certificate of destruction along with environmental impact data, demonstrating how much waste was diverted and carbon emissions saved.

What you gain from using this service

Enhanced Brand Security

Ensure old uniforms, especially branded or sensitive workwear, cannot be reused fraudulently. Mitigate any reputational or legal risk tied to improper disposal.

Proven Sustainability

Align your business with eco-conscious practices. Each tonne of textile recycled reduces CO₂ emissions and landfill use, helping your organisation contribute positively to the environment.

Seamless, Professional Experience

From installing disposal units to audit trails and reporting, the process is smooth and minimally disruptive to day-to-day operations.

Sustainability at Scale

Did you know that the UK discards hundreds of thousands of tonnes of textiles annually, with only a tiny fraction effectively recycled? Avena is the only UK provider certified to deliver secure destruction combined with 100% recycling, ensuring that no reusable material ends up in landfill. That’s why Enfield Safety have partnered with them to protect your brand.

Clients using this service contribute quantifiable environmental benefits, reducing CO2, saving landfill space, and supporting the national drive toward zero waste.

Partnering with Enfield Safety

At Enfield Safety, we understand the unique balance between maintaining confidentiality and practising sustainability. Through our partnership with Avena Group, we now empower you to securely destroy branded workwear while turning waste into value.
